Lyndsey worked with her client to create a spa like master bath from a clean slate. Most of this room was an addition making the design wide open for possibilities. A large master shower was the focal point at the back of the room. The stunning tile used in the shower niche invites you right in and stands alone as the focal point for this beautiful space. A wood looking tile ombres into the fun octagon tiles that lead you back to the master bedroom. Lyndsey designed the furniture style vanities that her client built and finished by hand. The granite countertops were reused from the old kitchen that was remodeled to save extra dollars. Now this bathroom is a retreat at the end of a long work day.

This spacious family home hit the mark on modern farmhouse style.  The perfectly planned layout offers form and function for this young family with a warm welcome.  So many fun details to gaze at it's no wonder this home took the award for 2019 Parade of Homes!

Downtown Update

Clean, simple, fresh and new.  This historic home in the heart of downtown had beautiful bones when this young couple came along and breathed new life into it!  It had been renovated but never to it's full potential.  Now the kitchen is the heart of the home and speaks to the style of the original craftsmanship.

Lyndsey’s clients came to her with hopes to make their spec house feel like their dream custom home. After meeting on site with their contractor to discuss removing walls and adding on, Lyndsey developed a layout that not only met the needs of a growing family but also was aesthetically pleasing. Her expertise along with her client’s great taste allowed for a plan to quickly come together.

Dura Supreme cabinetry was a perfect fit. The vibrant “Gale Force” blue anchors the design and is used as an accent throughout the rest of the home. Dura Supreme’s ship lap panels wrap the large island adding a farmhouse touch. Many custom accessories from Dura Supreme were used to provide ultimate organization and functionality to this space.  A mixer lift cabinet, tall pantry with roll out shelves, and a recycle base cabinet make hectic family life a breeze. 

The large island demands your eye with the stunning “Skara Brae” by Cambria. Who wouldn’t want to sit there for hours?

This is now a family friendly gathering place that now feels like it was custom made for them.

Rich and Inviting Kitchen Remodel

This remodel was a fun one! We took a small sleepy kitchen and transformed it into a rich inviting space that feels like it’s twice the size! We added a small amount of counter space, a seating area done in matching cabinetry, and tons of storage accessories including a two tiered cutlery drawer, double recycle, deep drawers for pots and pans, spice storage, and a hood that commands attention. This kitchen isn't  just a pretty face, it’s also functional and fun to be in!

I’ve always dreamed of having a clean, modernist home, and I’m happy to say that Alice and her team at Atelier Cohen led the way to making that dream a reality! I had the pleasure of working with Alice on redecorating my childhood home that hadn’t been touched up since I was a teen in the 80’s.
